Giving Back

My father has lived with a hearing disability for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I watched him navigate a world that rarely made room for it, leaning in just to catch a name, a joke, a moment everyone else caught without trying. The frustration of asking someone to repeat themselves multiple times and still not catching it. The quiet exit from a conversation he couldn't keep up with. Since this condition isn't visible, it's rarely given the thought, or the accommodation, it deserves.

He is not alone. In India, an estimated 63 million people live with significant hearing loss. Every year, over 100,000 babies are born with a hearing impairment, and for many families, a good hearing aid remains simply out of reach. Left unaddressed, hearing loss doesn't just affect what a child hears, it quietly shapes what they get to learn, say, and become.

For every order placed with us, 1% of the revenue goes to JOSH Foundation, a Mumbai-based organisation that has spent over two decades providing digital hearing aids to underprivileged children across India. What they give isn't just a device. It's a child's first chance to hear their name, follow a lesson, join a conversation without straining for it.

Every bag we make carries a little bit of that intention forward.
